Come Out From Among Them!

You may have just gotten saved, or you may be saved but still you might be hanging out with your old friends,just hanging out still doing the things you were doing before you got saved but deep down inside theres this feeling inside of your spirit that this isn't right.You may be afraid to cut those friends off because of long term frienships, or may have grown up with them but when your saved,the bible teaches us in 2Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."(KJV) That feeling inside of you is letting you know that what your friends are doing is no longer you anymore.You've been redeemed and forgiven for your sins but yet your still delving. The bible says in Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." If your living your life still in sin and compromise, God is not pleased. I can understand, you can't change over night but you have to understand that you can no longer be conformed to this world. The drinking, the partying,the cursing, the bad TV shows, the secular music, the drugs, the vanity, and the list goes on. All of those things are of this world that your no longer a part of. Your soul belongs to Jesus. Remember you let HIM into your life. Let HIM lead your life. Don't let peer pressure get you off track. God wants you as a christian to seperate yourself from worldly ways and the unsaved.(2Corinthians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?") Otherwise if you have friends that don't want anything to do with being saved and filled with the HolySpirit then cut them off.Don't be afraid to let them know who you are and what you've become because that's what the devil wants is for you to be afraid of what they might think of you once you tell them that lifestyle isn't you anymore. So what if they get upset,and I doubt it if they don't but that will let you know they weren't your true friends anyway. Look like they would be all for your change of lifestyle.You have to do whats best for you.It's your eternal soul at stake.You pray for your unsaved friends and hope that they will change too. In order to be stronger in the Lord, you have to let the Lord be your guide in life. When you made that life decision to be saved, your saved! The Lord has a great plan for you and the devil doesnt want you to be prosperous,successful and most importantly he doesn't want you to be in the will of the Lord. Set goals and make up your mind if you really truly want to serve the Lord or not. Jesus loves you and wants the best for you. He doesn't want you to miss out on your purpose in life. You have to set a good example to your surroundings to let them know that your serious about serving the Lord and that your strength within through the HolySpirit is greater than anything here on earth. You have to let your light shine. You can do all things through Christ which strengthens you.(Philippians 4:13) Be encouraged and stay focused.

My son likes to watch Dragon Tales sometimes and I had a thought to research info about this show and I came across this.....

Dragon Tales THE "SUPPOSED" AGENDA OF DRAGON TALES
Once parents and children have familiarized themselves with occult symbols, they can easily see the New Age agenda of Dragon Tales.
First let us look at what the Dragon Tales web site says about the show. It gives the following summary:
"In Dragon Tales, an animated adventure series for preschoolers, children join six-year-old Emmy and her four-year-old brother Max as they explore Dragon Land -- a magical place with Stickleback Mountains, Singing Springs, and Whispering Woods.
"In their adventures, Emmy, Max and four dragon friends help each other face fears and find ways to cope with every day problems, like making friend and learning new skills."
The source code for the web site states:
"The DRAGON TALES Web site on PBS Online introduces visitors to six-year-old Emmy and her four-year-old brother Max on their visits to Dragon Land. In the course of their adventures, the children and their young dragon friends help each other face fears, build confidence, and learn new ways to deal with problems they encounter. DRAGON TALES' unique format and characters are designed to help preschoolers handle everyday challenges such as making friends, coping with fear of the dark, and learning new skills. DRAGON CHARACTERS
Look at two of the four dragon characters:
1) Quetzal, The Dragon Tales web site is being very deceptive here. The Quetzalcoatl culture is NOT the same as the nice-sounding term "Mexican culture." The following description reveals the true occult meaning of the term Quetzalcoatl. See http://www.quetzalcoatl.com/serpent.html
"Quetzalcoatl, represented by the plumed serpent, was a legendary Toltec and Aztec ruling deity of ancient Mexico. He was much revered as creator and as the god of civilization, encompassing learning, culture, philosophy, fertility, holiness and gentility. ... After many years of wandering he reached his homeland on the east coast of Mexico where he was consumed by divine fire. His ashes were turned into birds and his heart into the morning star. He set sail over the ocean, promising his devoted followers that he would return again from over the sea. ... There are many ancient temples dedicated to Quetzalcoatl in Mexico [the web site provides photos of these temples].
If you will recall, the terms "serpent" and "morning star" above are also used for Lucifer in the Bible. So this Mexican god Quetzalcoatl - AS WELL AS the dragon character Quetzal in Dragon Tales - can be viewed as a representation of Lucifer!

OTHER OCCULT CONCEPTS IN DRAGON TALES
Dragon Tails also includes numerous references to astral travel (out-of-body experiences). At the top of one Dragon Tales web page is the following lyric:
"Wish I wish with all my heart,
To fly with dragons in a land apart."

Now that's a scary thought, that children are encouraged to wish they can fly (take part in astral travel) with dragons ("friendly" demons) in a land apart (a supernatural realm apart from this physical world).
Also consider the following limerick (click here)
Dragon Land is a wondrous place
Where dragons and kids fly through space.
From Rainbow Canyon to Dragoon Lagoon,
Discover a world beyond the moon.
Again, a not-so-hidden reference to astral travel, as well as to rainbows and a supernatural realm. New Agers use these kinds of TV shows and lyrics to indoctrinate their children (and the children of other parents) into the politically correct global spirituality through images that clash with Biblical truth. Another New Age concept, found here, brings children to Turtle Rock where kids and dragons rule! The turtle-shaped rocks are really cool. In spite of the fact that PBS addresses parents on this web site, the lyrics here illustrate that kids and dragons (i.e. occult spirits) rule, NOT parents. This is the same message New Age and liberal teachers convey in our public schools. Namely, that children are "little adults" capable of making their own decisions, independently and in spite of their parents' guidelines.
Also note that Dragon Tales (like Teletubbies, Barney, and some other preschool shows) do not include the characters of parents in their TV shows. Rather, odd-looking, fantasy oriented (i.e. occult) characters are the children's teachers and role models.
Let's take a look at occult references in various episodes of Dragon Tales, as listed here:
Please note that there are most certainly more occult symbols in the episodes than what are described in the following summaries.
1) 'To Fly with Dragons'/'The Forest of Darkness' Air Dates: 02/17/00
"Max and Emmy aren't sure how they feel about their new home until they discover the playroom with dragon wallpaper -- and a secret drawer! Inside is a shiny dragon scale, and a poem whose words transport them magically to Dragon Land. Max is a little nervous at first, but soon he and Emmy fly on Ord's and Cassie's backs to see this wondrous new place. In the second adventure, Quetzal opens his Big Storybook and gives Ord a very special assignment -- to locate the Star Tree in the Forest of Darkness and bring back one of its Star Seeds. There's only one problem: Ord is afraid of the dark! With a little help from his friends, Ord learns some creative new ways to cope with his fear."
Occult references: 1) "a poem whose words transport them magically to Dragon Land" - similar to mantras and other verbal tools used in visualization, which children are taught by New Agers; 2) "he and Emmy fly on Ord's and Cassie's backs" - astral travel, 3) "bring back one of its Star Seeds" - an Internet search on the term "star seed" shows it to be a common term among New Agers.
2) 'To Kingdom Come'/'Goodbye Little Caterpoozle' Air Dates: 2/17/00
"Emmy and Max are excited to attend the beach bash in Dragon Land. Ord uses the rare Wish Shell he's found to transport himself to Kingdom Come, so he won't have to share his wishes or anything else with the others. In the second story, everyone loves to play with Cassie's fuzzy pet caterpoozle, especially Cassie. When Cassie discovers a transparent cocoon in the cage, they all believe that Poozie has died. To help Cassie feel better, the friends share favorite memories of Poozie and offer to help find another pet. None will do, until a caterpoozle a lot like Poozie crawls up Cassie's arm, nuzzles her neck and smiles up at her."
Occult references: 1) The title of one episode is "To Kingdom Come"; this could perhaps be considered a mockery of the phrase in the Lord's Prayer, "Thy Kingdom come"; 2) "Ord uses the rare Wish Shell he's found to transport himself to Kingdom Come" - a common tool in visualization and astral travel is to "make a wish" and then to become "transported." Picture Samantha twitching her nose in the TV Show "Bewitched."
6) 'Snow Dragons'/'The Fury is Out on This One' Air Dates: 02/24/00
"Cassie is sick with a cold, so Emmy keeps her company while Quetzal [Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec ”Feathered Serpent,” god of creation and destruction] leads Max and Ord on an adventure to find the giant Snow Dragon slide. Quetzal says they must stay together at Snowy Summit, but the boys spot a hollowed-out log and hop in for a ride. When they land, they've lost Quetzal. Searching high and low, they encounter a Burping Rock who points them in the right direction for the Snow Dragon. In the second story, Max is 'It' in a competitive game of Dragon Tag. He races around in hot pursuit of the others, but they delight in remaining just out of reach. In anger, he hurls a pinecone-like pod and out pops Fury, an intimidating little man with steam rising from his head. The madder Max gets, the bigger (and happier) Fury becomes until eventually he even towers over Ord! Quetzal explains that Furies love to see people mad and that only Max, by controlling his anger, has the power to send Fury back into his pod."
Occult reference: "In anger, he hurls a pinecone-like pod and out pops Fury, an intimidating little man with steam rising from his head." - Fury, or "Furies", is an obviously occult term. Carol Rose writes in her book _Spirits, Leprechauns, and Goblins: An Encyclopedia_(pp. 121-122) that the Furies is a collective name given to the avenging spirits in Roman and Greek mythology. The name "Furies" means the Angry Ones. These evil spirits "avenge the unpunished wrongs committed by humans with horrible zeal, to exact revenge even after death."
7) 'The Giant of Nod'/'The Big Sleepover' Air Dates: 02/25/00
"Zak and Wheezie are starring in tonight's concert at Singing Springs Amphitheater, but they can't stop bickering over which song to perform. Zak votes for something slow and melodic, while Wheezie likes it loud and rockin'. In their dueling attempts to outsing and outplay each other, they awaken the napping Giant of Nod who actually turns out to be a tiny gnome (but with extraordinary strength)! In the second story, everyone is invited to a big sleepover at Zak and Wheezie's. Cassie, who's never spent the night away from home before, is a little scared. At Emmy's suggestion, she brings along a favorite family photo as a reminder of home. Although she has lots of fun popping dragon corn, playing games, waging pillow fights and making shadow puppets, she misses her parents."
Occult references: 1) "Zak votes for something slow and melodic, while Wheezie likes it loud and rockin'" - the conflicting sides of this two-headed dragon illustrate the New Age concept of yin and yang. 2) Giant of Nod - In the Old Testament, the Philistines and other giants were superhuman and supernatural, the descendants of the demonic "sons of god" who married the daughters of men. The term "Nod" is seen in Genesis 4:16: "And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden." "Land of Nod" is a common term among New Agers today.
8) 'A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words'/'The Talent Pool' Air Dates: 02/28/00
"In anticipation of his mother's birthday celebration, Ord sets off on an adventure with his friends to find some 'giggle flowers,' his mom's favorite. While searching high and low, the gang encounters a tiny 'doodle fairy' who holds talent show takes place tonight. All the dragons are fine-tuning their acts, but Cassie fears she doesn't have any special talent to contribute. At Quetzal's suggestion, Cassie consults the Talent Pool, a magical talking pond that awards talents to all who seek them."
Occult reference: "encounters a tiny 'doodle fairy'" - Carol Rose (pp. 107-112) gives a detailed discussion of fairies as spirit beings, appearing as tiny creatures and using mystical powers.
9) 'Emmy's Dream House'/'Dragon Sails' Air Dates: 02/29/00
"Emmy and Max decide to enlist their dragon friends' help in building the treehouse of their dreams. Bubbling with excitement, the group unites in a race against the clock to finish their project as purple goo stormclouds loom on the horizon. When self-appointed boss Emmy focuses only on her own plans, ignoring the others' needs and ideas, her friends march off in protest. In part 2, the group sets sail for Rainbow Canyon in search of a special rainbow-colored crystal to complete Cassie's shimmering crystal set. When Ord's heavy weight rocks their little boat and they all fall into the water, he's sad because he fears they'll have to continue on their adventure without him. The gang solves the dilemma by crafting a bigger, Ord-size boat and off they go again."
Occult references: "The group sets sail for Rainbow Canyon in search of a special rainbow-colored crystal to complete Cassie's shimmering crystal set" - Note the three New Age terms in this one sentence: rainbow, color (as in color therapy), and crystal.
12) Follow the Dots/Wheezie's Hairball Air Dates: 02/19/00
"During a badminton-like game of 'Whack-It-Back,' Ord hits the whistling birdie so hard that it disappears over the trees. Norm the Number Gnome presents a challenge: number and connect the 10 black dots that he scatters across the land and they'll find the birdie. Using what Max remembers from his puzzle book at home, they track down dots represented by various numbers of cactuses and watermelons, chili peppers and Dandylions, Do-Re-Mi birds and Stinky Dink bugs. When they connect all 10 in the correct order, the lines form an arrow pointing to Ord's whistler in a tree! Emmy and Max are greeted in Dragon Land by a strange orange fur ball, Zak and Wheezie's new pet, Slurpy. They're learning how to take care of him, and it isn't easy! Since he can't talk, Slurpy tries to communicate by bouncing twice and spinning around."
Occult references: 1) "Norm the Number Gnome presents a challenge" - Carol Rose (p. 128) defines gnomes as nature spirits or elementals (terms common in Wicca i.e. witchcraft). Some gnomes are able to shapeshift or morph into giants. 2) "Emmy and Max are greeted in Dragon Land by a strange orange fur ball" - this fur ball appears to be a "cute" demonic creature, like the "good" demons in the movie "Gremlins."
16) Do Not Pass Gnome/Treasure Hunt Air Dates: 02/3/00
"Emmy tells Max not to play with her yo-yo, but he doesn't listen and accidentally breaks it. In Dragon Land, an elfin fellow named Simon says he can fix it if they reach the end of a checkered gameboard path while playing his version of Simon Says. But it won't be easy because to move forward, they must follow his instructions only when they begin with the words Simon says. -Emmy reads about dragon treasures and can't wait to discover them. In Dragon Land, Quetzal shows everybody pictures of Treasure Trove and explains that it can be entered only by inserting special jewels into its magic door. He gives them the jewels along with an important instruction: be sure to bring them inside because they are also needed to unlock the exit door. But when they arrive, they're so awestruck by the beautiful sight, they forget and leave the jewels outside."
Occult references: 1) One of the two segments in this episode is called "Do Not Pass Gnome" - "gnome" is a spirit creature; 2) "an elfin fellow named Simon" - Carol Rose (p. 99) defines elves as "tiny human-shaped supernaturals who can shape shift at will."
19) The Greatest Show in Dragon Land/Prepare According to Instructions Air Dates: 02/8/00
"The kids and dragons are really excited about flying to Wonder World amusement park. When they find out Zak and Wheezie have a broken wing and are unable to fly, however, they agree to accommodate their friends by walking there instead. Quetzal sends the gang to see one of the most special sights in all of Dragon Land: the dancing crystals at Crystal Cave! He gives them precise instructions for things they must collect along the way. In a rush to make it there before sundown, Emmy dismisses the need for a map and a first aid kit. After they complete the first two instructions (with the help of the first aid supplies that Zak and Wheezie grabbed just in case), they head for Turtle Rock … but they don't know know how to get there. As Cassie gets ready to fly home to retrieve the map, Emmy begins to understand the importance of thinking ahead and suggests she bring back one more item as well."
Occult references: 1) "flying to Wonder World amusement park" - flying, another reference to astral travel; 2) "the dancing crystals at Crystal Cave" - crystals are a favorite New Age tool
22) Quetzal's Magic Pop-up Book/My Way or Snow Way Air Dates: 02/11/00
"Quetzal [Remember, Quetzalcoatl, Aztec god of creation and destruction] pulls out his special magic book that allows the kids and dragons to go inside its blank pages, where they can create and become part of tales that come to life just by thinking about them. Once inside, however, all start thinking different thoughts at once and chaos ensues. They recognize the need for taking turns and appoint Cassie director of one big story in which each will tell a small part. Now the storytelling is fun. And everyone lives happily ever after when they save the Doodle Fairy Princess from Mungus the Giant. The gang meets Chilly, a snowman who's frantically searching for his pet snow-puppy. Wheezie suggests using one of her special whistles to call Nippy because dogs can hear certain sounds that kids and dragons can't. Her friends insist her idea will never work, but Chilly encourages Wheezie not to give up -- after all, she knows more about whistles than they do. When her friends' strategies don't work, Wheezie blows her whistle in spite of their disapproval."
Occult references: This episode is full of occult concepts. 1) "Quetzal pulls out his special magic book that allows the kids and dragons to go inside its blank pages, where they can create and become part of tales that come to life just by thinking about them" - this phrase involves several major occult concepts: a book of spells and incantations, astral travel, and visualization/guided imagery....
REFERENCES TO "DRAGON" IN THE BIBLE
What does the Bible say about dragons? In the KJV translation, "dragon" is a term used almost exclusively for Satan and his demon helpers. Children in a Christian home could easily be confused when reading the Bible and seeing dragons portrayed as demonic, then viewing Dragon Tales on TV and seeing dragons as friendly supernatural beings.
Following are the KJV verses which appear to use the term "dragon" for Satan and the demons:
Psalms 91:13 - Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Isaiah 27:1 - In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
Isaiah 51:9 - Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

Dora The Explorer

UH OH!!!!(SHAKING MY HEAD)

For those who are unfamiliar with the series, the plotline of each story, both on television and in books, follows a similar formula. Dora and her monkey friend named Boots (who incidentally wears nothing but boots) encounter some animal that needs help getting somewhere, and with aid of a talking map and backpack, they find directions, ready supplies, and begin their adventure. Along the way, they encounter numerous talking animals and trees, small animals who appear from nowhere to play a transitional-scene theme song, and other marvelous creatures on their enchanted romp through the (super)natural world. One common plot element involves the entrance of the villain Swiper the Fox, who inventively appears and attempts to steal something from the adventurers. However, they are usually able to foil his plans by calling out, “Swiper, no swiping!” three times in succession. After this, Swiper cries out, “Oh mannn!” and sulks back into the unmapped forest.
While watching an episode with my kids one day, it dawned on me: Swiper was being expelled with an incantation to ward off demons. Is Swiper to be understood as a demonic figure?
Since the year 2000, when the series began, Dora has been entertaining 2-5 year-old (and older) boys and girls with an exciting, though predictable, premise that is fun, educational and interactive. My favorite DVD episode is called “Dora’s Search for the Seasons”, in which Dora and Boots encounter Baby Flamingo, who, lost, wants to find his way back to Summer Lake. Dora and Boots consult the magical talking Map, who explains that in order to get to Summer Lake, first they need to go through Fall Forest, then Winter Mountain, Spring Meadow, then finally they can get to Summer Lake. This, of course, is designed for children to memorize the seasons in succession and get an idea about the kind of weather typically associated with each one. SPOILER ALERT: They eventually get to Summer Lake, where Baby Flamingo is gloriously reunited with his family, while dancing and singing breaks out (“We did it!”).
But before they can get there, they encounter Swiper the Fox, who they need to dispense with before they can continue their journey. The adventurers run into Swiper in Fall Forest after they pick some apples for the trip. Then some interesting Biblical themes spring out, but with an interesting twist. Here the creature of the forest wants to take the apples from the main characters.
Then we catch a glimpse of Swiper lurking in the background with his blue mask and gloves—and his appearance is usually accompanied by a sound best described as scratching or shaking and a distinctive sequence of keyboard notes (though not ominous sounding)—sneaking around in the background as Dora and her companions look to the audience for help. Swiper sneaks up on the explorers while we are reminded of the only way to get rid of him. We must yell, “Swiper, No swiping!” And it must be repeated, “Three times!” Along with Dora, Boots, and Baby Flamingo, every child is asked to repeat this directive. Fortunately, in “The Search of the Seasons,” Swiper is stopped after the third incantation. After this, Swiper cries out, “Oh mannn!” and creeps back into the woods.
As the Nick Jr. website indicates, the whole point of Dora the Explorer is to teach problem-solving skills:
Preschoolers are our least powerful citizens. They can’t reach the light switch; they have trouble pouring the milk on their cereal. They’re faced with obstacles throughout their day and it can get pretty discouraging. Problem-solving strategies like stopping to think, asking for help, and using what you know are modeled in every Dora show.
Indeed, children become empowered by Dora the Explorer. Children are asked to memorize directions and repeat phrases, often at disarming decibels—watching Dora’s adventures rarely coincides with quiet time. But if problem-solving skills are the desired outcome, then what problem-solving skills are children actually being taught when it comes to Swiper the Fox?
After many more viewings and readings of Dora the Explorer than I can ever count, the figure of Swiper began to seem hauntingly familiar to me. To me, a professor and scholar of the history of Christianity, I saw this problem-solving strategy of dealing with Swiper within a larger, historical contest. He is an archetypal image of the diabolical fox-spirit in the history of religions. The words to ward him off are similar in pattern to spells or exorcistic formulae used to ward off evil spirits throughout history. And not only may children be learning how best to deal with the demonic, but they’re doing so in a very sophisticated way. For Dora does not completely cast out her demon, but rather allows for its redemption.
The fox holds a peculiar place within our collective consciousness. In Aesop’s Fables, the fox is often the trickster, and a dangerous one at that. Take for example the story of the Hare and the Fox, when, after the fox invited him to experience his culinary arts, the unfortunate rabbit discovers that he is the main course. Indeed, the fox appears throughout world cultures as a trickster, often with sinister implications. The common English expression “like a fox” implies both sly and powerful; Jimi Hendrix’s “Foxy Lady” made him “wanna get up and scream!”

Indeed, the fox is a common symbol for the evil and chaotic presence in European culture. The seventh century encyclopedist Isidore of Seville, Spain, writes that foxes “are deceptive animals that never run on a direct course, but only follow a winding path. To get food fox pretends to be dead, then captures birds that come to feed on what they suppose to be its corpse.” In some episodes, Swiper curls up into a ball to hide from the unsuspecting Dora and Boots, only to pounce on them and go for the goods they are carrying, reminiscent of this ploy attributed to the fox by medieval peoples.
Further, this deceptive nature made the fox a logical form for the devil to take on earth. In fact, for medieval Europeans, the fox was a common symbol for the devil himself. In the ninth century Life of Leoba by Rodolf of Folda, there is a story of a nun who loses the key to the church and, after looking all over for it, goes to Abbess Leoba to confess her negligence. The abbess, however, is convinced that the sister is not to blame: it is the work of the devil. So, she and the other nuns set themselves to reciting Matins and Lauds and gave themselves to prayer in order to defeat the swiper-demon through the power of God. While they were praying, they heard a sound at the door of the church, where was discovered a dead fox with the missing keys in his mouth. The abbess identified this fox as the “old enemy” himself, Satan, who transformed into a fox but was defeated by prayer. Swiper’s most demonic attributes display themselves when he is successful in his swiping, before the incantation can be repeated. “You’re too late!” the fox yells, or, mockingly, “You’ll never find it now! Ha, ha, ha!”
The formula, “Swiper, no swiping!” even has precedence in Greco-Roman and Judeo-Christian demonology. In the pre-modern world, as well as in the modern magical tradition, the knowledge of a demon’s name meant the ability to have powers over it. For example, the Testament of Solomon (written before the 3rd century CE) is filled with interactions between Solomon and demons. One demon in particular, which Solomon learns is named Ornias, attempts to “swipe” money and food from the master artisan of the Temple. Once Solomon learns the demon’s name, he easily thwarts his plans.

Demons in antiquity could also take possession of humans and run away with them. Take, for example, Mark 5:9, when Jesus meets the man who was taken by demons to the tombs in the country of the Gerasenes. Before he can properly expel the evil presence in the man, Jesus asks, “What is your name,” to which the demons replied, “My name is Legion.” It is at this point that Jesus gains control of the demons, expelling them into nearby pigs, which subsequently drown themselves in a lake. This exorcist formula has strong cultural modern resonances as well. Recall in the film The Exorcist when Father Karras first meets Regan, the possessed girl tied to her bed, and asks the name of the person inside her: “I am the Devil, now kindly undo these straps!” Of course, Dora already knows the name of her “demon” and so they can easily repel Swiper with the command to stop before he can swipe anything—and no one needs to commit suicide by jumping from a bedroom window. Recall, too, in The Exorcist the dramatic repetition of the formula, “The power of Christ compels you!” which was effective for expelling the Babylonian Pazuzu demon from Regan. Although Swiper needs much less repetition to be expelled, the sacred words are no less effective.
However, there is also a sympathetic view of the fox in the middle ages, as seen in the twelfth century French romance, Le Roman de Renart, aka, Raynard the Fox, who is a trickster character praised for his cunning for getting out of tight situations. Nevertheless, he often resorts to deception to get his way, and thus his association with demons is always right below the surface of the narrative. Swiper, like Raynard, is a lovable but conniving character.

The fox is a potent trickster figure in Asia too. The fox-demon, húlijīng, is common in “Liao Zhai” tales in Chinese folklore, where they terrorize the countryside with their shape-shifting powers. They are sexual vampires, often blamed for stealing the sexual energy of monks, both male and female. Japanese fox-spirits, kitsune, appear in many stories as bringers of havoc. They mainly attempt to trick their prey using their ability to take many forms. As late as 1995, the New York Times ran a story about a man who was considered by the inhabitants of his small Japanese town to have been killed by a fox-demon after he beat a fox to death for wreaking havoc on his property and threatening his livestock. Western-trained doctors maintain that he most likely died of natural causes, but his neighbors would have none of such theories. Foxes are not always evil in Japan, however. They are also protective deities whose images are depicted in domestic shrines in honor of Oinari, the god of rice—the fox is this god’s messenger protector. In fact, the Asian tradition regarding foxes is one of great ambivalence, lacking the distinct dichotomies of good and evil beings so common in the Judeo-Christian tradition. Swiper, too, is somewhat ambivalent as portrayed in the cartoon.
While researching this article, I asked an expert—my oldest son, who is five—for his opinion.
“So, is Swiper a bad guy?” I asked.
“No,” he answered, “Just when he’s swiping.”
“Why does he steal stuff from Dora?”
“He doesn’t steal!” he clarified. “He swipes!”
“Oh, yeah. He swipes!” I could sense his disgust in my ignorance. I should have realized it was a poorly phrased question.
“Why does he swipe?”
“I don’t know.”
“Is he scary?” I asked.
“No.”
It is obvious that my son is just showing off his keen analytical skills and attention to the cultural import of this familiar yet novel embodiment of the fox in the historical record.
It turns out that the unanswered and mysterious motivations for Swipers’s swiping were built into the show. In a howstuffworks.com interview with the show’s creator, Valerie Walsh, Swiper’s role is explained:
Swiper is a one-dimensional character. You don’t know why he steals, and we did that on purpose. Kids this age are learning about more complex thinking. The emotional and psychological reasons behind someone being bad have to be explained so thoroughly that we didn’t want the back-story…. We’ve had this discussion with advisors who wanted us to get into the motivation behind Swiper’s bad behavior. We decided that it’s cleaner without it. Similar to villains in fairy tales, we don’t get into the why.
Leaving this opening led me right in: that’s just what the demonic spirit, in this instance the fox-demon, does.
At first I thought my son’s insistence that Swiper does not steal but swipes was meaningless semantics. However, his insistence on the distinction appears to be an important one. We all know stealing is bad, but swiping? As the typical Swiper narrative shows, his swiping is easily foiled by the incantation, “Swiper, no swiping!” Also, even if Swiper does swipe something from Dora and Boots, it turns into an adventure in which our heroes, as my son informed me, are always able to get their stuff back. Swiping is an offence of a different order. It is undoable, impermanent, and unthreatening.
My son’s response to whether Swiper is scary or not is also insightful. It seems most children view Swiper more as an ambivalent, even friendly figure, rather than a menacing one, such as the Smurfs’ Gargamel or Inspector Gadget’s Dr. Claw. Indeed, Swiper is marketed as one of the main characters in Dora’s universe. One can purchase stuffed, plastic posable, and helicopter-equipped Swipers, along with books, CDs, and DVDs that showcase this important character of Dora the Explorer cosmology.
It’s not clear whether the creators of Dora the Explorer were thinking about this rich demonological tradition when they created Swiper—they did not need to. The image of the fox-demon has molded our religious consciousness for centuries. Dora the Explorer provides a wonderful opportunity to engage children in the enchanted worldview in which the universe is alive and communicates to us, and they can control it through the power of words. But Dora is not content to simply relegate the fox to the dark wilderness. Indeed, Dora’s demonology is not about absolute evils, but of the redeeming quality of all life, even pesky demon-foxes. On several occasions, Dora and her friends help Swiper to get out of traps and other sticky situations, showing grace and compassion even for such a historically maligned creature. Swiper, we discover, is not as evil as he thinks he is, but welcomes Dora’s help and evens learns the value of compassion.
The theological position that even the Devil and his demons will be saved with the death and resurrection of Christ has gathered dust on the cutting-room floor of early Christian history. The otherwise celebrated Christian theologian Origen of Alexandria, who died in AD 254, held this position. For Origen, the mercy of God extended to all creation. Salvation for all, including the demonic, allows for a view of the world in which no beings should be excluded, thus being more tolerant of even the most extreme differences in the world. I wonder what our history might have looked like if the Western traditions had adopted the concept of the salvation of the Devil. It would certainly have been more difficult for these groups to justify the destruction of “evil doers” in its midst.
Through such portrayals, perhaps children might see that such “demonic” presences are not absolutely evil, but have a value and worth beyond simply being ostracized and counted as “other”. We tend to use the power of words today to demonize rather than exorcise. If we could get children to treat all such “old enemies” with compassion and understanding, they might indeed understand one of the central tenants of the Christian tradition, unfortunately lost by the most “pious” among us: “Love thy enemy.” Then, perhaps, we adults may all learn from our children to do the same to our foes, whether we conceive of them as demonic or not.

CNN) — James Cameron’s completely immersive spectacle “Avatar” may have been a little too real for some fans who say they have experienced depression and suicidal thoughts after seeing the film because they long to enjoy the beauty of the alien world Pandora.

On the fan forum site “Avatar Forums,” a topic thread entitled “Ways to cope with the depression of the dream of Pandora being intangible,” has received more than 1,000 posts from people experiencing depression and fans trying to help them cope. The topic became so popular last month that forum administrator Philippe Baghdassarian had to create a second thread so people could continue to post their confused feelings about the movie.
“I wasn’t depressed myself. In fact the movie made me happy ,” Baghdassarian said. “But I can understand why it made people depressed. The movie was so beautiful and it showed something we don’t have here on Earth. I think people saw we could be living in a completely different world and that caused them to be depressed.”
A post by a user called Elequin expresses an almost obsessive relationship with the film.
“That’s all I have been doing as of late, searching the Internet for more info about ‘Avatar.’ I guess that helps. It’s so hard I can’t force myself to think that it’s just a movie, and to get over it, that living like the Na’vi will never happen. I think I need a rebound movie,” Elequin posted.
A user named Mike wrote on the fan Web site “Naviblue” that he contemplated suicide after seeing the movie.
“Ever since I went to see Avatar I have been depressed. Watching the wonderful world of Pandora and all the Na’vi made me want to be one of them. I can’t stop thinking about all the things that happened in the film and all of the tears and shivers I got from it,” Mike posted. “I even contemplate suicide thinking that if I do it I will be rebirthed in a world similar to Pandora and the everything is the same as in ‘Avatar.’ “

Other fans have expressed feelings of disgust with the human race and disengagement with reality.
Cameron’s movie, which has pulled in more than $1.4 billion in worldwide box office sales and could be on track to be the highest grossing film of all time, is set in the future when the Earth’s resources have been pillaged by the human race. A greedy corporation is trying to mine the rare mineral unobtainium from the planet Pandora, which is inhabited by a peace-loving race of 7-foot tall, blue-skinned natives called the Na’vi.

In their race to mine for Pandora’s resources, the humans clash with the Na’vi, leading to casualties on both sides. The world of Pandora is reminiscent of a prehistoric fantasyland, filled with dinosaur-like creatures mixed with the kinds of fauna you may find in the deep reaches of the ocean. Compared with life on Earth, Pandora is a beautiful, glowing utopia.
Ivar Hill posts to the Avatar forum page under the name Eltu. He wrote about his post-Avatar depression after he first saw the film earlier this month.
“When I woke up this morning after watching Avatar for the first time yesterday, the world seemed … gray. It was like my whole life, everything I’ve done and worked for, lost its meaning,” Hill wrote on the forum. “It just seems so … meaningless. I still don’t really see any reason to keep … doing things at all. I live in a dying world.”
Reached via e-mail in Sweden where he is studying game design, Hill, 17, explained that his feelings of despair made him desperately want to escape reality.
“One can say my depression was twofold: I was depressed because I really wanted to live in Pandora, which seemed like such a perfect place, but I was also depressed and disgusted with the sight of our world, what we have done to Earth. I so much wanted to escape reality,” Hill said.
Cameron’s special effects masterpiece is very lifelike and the 3-D performance capture and CGI effects essentially allow the viewer to enter the alien world of Pandora for the movie’s 2½-hour run-time, which only lends to the separation anxiety some individuals experience when they depart the movie theater.
“Virtual life is not real life and it never will be, but this is the pinnacle of what we can build in a virtual presentation so far,” said Dr. Stephan Quentzel, psychiatrist and Medical Director for the Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. “It has taken the best of our technology to create this virtual world and real life will never be as utopian as it seems onscreen. It makes real life seem more imperfect.”Fans of the movie may find actor Stephen Lang, who plays the villainous Col. Miles Quaritch in the film, an enemy of the Na’vi people and their sacred ground, an unlikely sympathizer, but Lang says he can understand the connection people are feeling with the movie.
“Pandora is a pristine world and there is the synergy between all of the creatures of the planet and I think that strikes a deep cord within people that has a wishfulness and a wistfulness to it,” Lang said. “James Cameron had the technical resources to go along with this incredibly fertile imagination of his and his dream is built out of the same things that other peoples’ dreams are made of.”
The bright side is that for Hill and others like him who became dissatisfied with their own lives and with our imperfect world after enjoying the fictional creation of James Cameron, becoming a part of a community of like-minded people on an online forum has helped them emerge from the darkness.
“After discussing on the forums for a while now, my depression is beginning to fade away. Having taken a part in many discussions concerning all this has really, really helped me,” Hill said. “Before, I had lost the reason to keep on living — but now it feels like these feelings are gradually being replaced with others.”
Quentzel said creating relationships with others is one of the keys to human happiness and that even if those connections are occurring online they are better than nothing.
“Obviously there is community building in these forums,” Quentzel said. “It may be technologically different from other community building, but it serves the same purpose.”
Within the fan community, suggestions for battling feelings of depression after seeing the movie include things like playing “Avatar” video games or downloading the movie soundtrack in addition to encouraging members to relate to other people outside the virtual realm and to seek out positive and constructive activities.

16 oz Velveeta Cheese
16 oz Taco Bell Thick N' Chunky Medium Salsa
1/2 pound Bob Evans Hot Sausage or other choices such as Jamestown Brand or Jimmy Dean(which ever one you like)
1 13 oz Bag of Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips

1 Crock Pot or you can use a sauce pan or microwave. Cooking time should take at least 5 min like so to cook.
Cut the Velveeta cheese into cubes. If your not that good with the knife then just cut it up into 4 pieces. Cutting the cheese will make it cook evenly. Put it in the pan or bowl(for microwave put it on 5 min)for the pan it should be on low temp. same for the crock pot. Let it cook for 5 min so that the cheese can melt. On your cutting board, ruff chop or break up sausage into even pieces and throw it in the pan and start sauteing. Let it cook really good. Stir it until it's well done. OK now when the cheese is melted stir in all of your ingredients such as the sausage and salsa. Stir it all for about a minute or 2 so that all of the ingredients will mix together. Break out your Tortilla chips and your plates and bowls get your fam and friends and eat up! Bon Appetit!

A common belief which we share is that the "sons of God" who did marry the "daughters of men" were fallen angels. Why did God send the judgment of the Flood in the days of Noah? The strange events recorded in Genesis 6 were understood by the ancient rabbinical sources, as well as the Septuagint translators, as referring to fallen angels procreating weird hybrid offspring with human women-known as the Nephilim. This was far more than simply a historical issue, the unique events leading to the Flood are a prerequisite to understanding the prophetic implications of our Lord's predictions regarding His Second Coming. This is believed to have happened both before the Flood and after the flood. In Israel at the time of David, and before this when the Hebrews were scouting the land - there were tribes of these Nephilim - Goliath the giant of Gath is one example. Early Church fathers also understood this to be the case. It appears that these fallen angels were active all over the world. These bizarre giants living on the earth are also echoed in the legends and myths of nearly every ancient culture. The ancient Greeks, the Egyptians, the Hindus, the South Sea Islanders, the American Indians, and most all the others have these legends.
The Hebrew word Nephelim (plural of nephel) (Nephilim) literally means "rejects". The Hebrew plural for Nephites would be "Nephi'im".

Satan probably put this plan to interrupt Abraham's "seed into motion, as soon as it was made known that the Seed of the Woman (Christ) was to come through ABRAHAM.

probably tells of two "irruptions" by Satan's seed. One before Noah's
time and another after the flood. They were called “The Watchers” in The Book of Enoch.
Their descendents, called Nephilim (translated "giants"), were monsters of iniquity; and being superhuman in size and in their wicked character, had to be destroyed. Was this the one and only object of the Flood?

Genesis 6:12 (Original KJV):
And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt;
for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
Only Noah and his family had preserved their pedigree pure from Adam (Genesis 6:9). All the rest had become "corrupt" (shachath). The only remedy was to destroy it defacto (Latin for "in fact"), as it had become defacto destroyed.
This irruption of fallen angels before Noah's day was probably Satan's first attempt to prevent the coming of the "Seed of the woman" foretold in Genesis 3:15. If this could be accomplished, God's Word would have failed, and Satan's own doom would be averted.

Aleister Crowley, born Edward Alexander Crowley in Warwickshire in 1875, was the self-proclaimed “Wickedest Man in the World” and the “Great Beast 666.” He also considered himself to be the “avatar of the Age of Horus” which was supposedly a 2000-year-old aeon, beginning in 1904, that would supplant Christianity with “Crowlianity.” Crowley had rebelled against a strict religious upbringing and was thus initiated into the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in 1898, after leaving Cambridge University. During the ceremony, she entered a trance-like state and became the medium for the words of a communicator. “They are waiting for you,” she said to Crowley. “They,” she said, being Horus, the god of war and the son of Osiris, according to the beliefs of ancient Egypt. The communicator told Crowley to be at his desk in his hotel room between noon and one o’clock on three specific days. He agreed and in these periods he wrote, via automatic writing, a document called The Book of the Law. This tome spoke of a race of supermen and condemned the traditional Judeo-Christian religions, pacifism, democracy, compassion and humanitarianism. “Let my servants be few and secret: they shall rule the many and the known,” the communicator revealed. The message continued: “We have nothing with the outcast and the unfit; let them die in their misery. For they feel not. Compassion is the vice of kings; stamp down the wretched and the weak: this is the law of the strong: this is our law and the joy of the world. … Love one another with burning hearts; on the low men trample in the fierce lust of your pride, in the day of your wrath. … Pity not the fallen! I thank the Lord each day for giving me grace and mercy. If it had not been for the Lord, I wouldn't know were I'd be. The vision that God has placed on my life is already here. On May 14th,2009 something broke out in the spirit realm. A deep, deep presence of God was in my home. My sister and I began to pray in the HolySpirit. All of a sudden a mighty rushing wind came and made us drunk in the spirit. We were filled with laughter and joy and everything felt new, like God was changing our hearts and minds. It was an uncontrollable feeling that led me to lay down on the floor while speaking to Jesus. In Acts chapter 2, on the day of Penticost the HolyGhost fell and all the disciples were on one accord with speaking in tounges they were drunk in the spirit meaning an uncontrolling heavy presence of God was upon them. My sister and I felt the same way, my sister laid hands on our mother which she wasn't feeling well and she was healed. We were up for most of the night just praising God with laughter, joy, and tears. Ever since, we have been serving the Lord fully with no compromise, all of our sins and evil deeds are past away and we are made new. I've been saved all of my life and never have gotten close to HIM like I am today. I never really understood how Jesus loved me. When He tried to love me, I never have given HIM the full me. I had to make a serious decision who I will serve from then on. When the presence of the Lord visited me that night, from then on, I chose to fully give my life over to Jesus and He has been showing me dreams, signs and wonders like never before. All of my desires are coming to past. My sister and I have been praying and interceeding for our loved ones, associates,co-workers,family and many others and I've notice a change in each of them.We also have been rebuking demons and evil spirits that tried to come against what we do for the Lord. We carry power through the Holyspirit and we wear the armour of God daily. The prayers of the righteous availeth much. (James 5:16)When we live a righteous life, all things will work out for each of us. Our prayers sent to the Lord never come back void (Isaiah 55:11) because we must trust in HIM fully and know that what He says in His word is true and will come to past.

We must live righteously, not eager to sin, or be moved by worldy things. Worldy things meaning, not being influenced by secular music, bad movies, things that the devil have out there as a trap to get people bumped off and loose their souls. We must realize when we leave this earth we will face judgment and if your name is not written in the book of life, then your souls will be lost forever in fire and brimstone. You want the Lord to say well done my good and faithful servant. You want to go to heaven but, is this world worth loosing your soul? The devil tries to steal, kill and destroy our purpose here on earth because he doesn't want us to go to heaven but to hell so we must really know who we are and choose who we want to serve. This life is passing us by.

Your probably sitting arond wondering when God will answer your questions. It's the questions you ask that are important to God and He always hears and answers. (1John 5:14-15 KJV) (James 1:5 KJV) The question is, are you tuning in for your answers or are you too distracted to hear from the Lord? There are many different ways to get clear answers from God.

1. Prayer-Praying is the key to hear more from the Lord. When you take the time out of your busy schedule and pray to yourself or with others then it helps to hear from the Lord.

2. Fasting-Denying your flesh. Meaning from food or TV,internet,phone, etc. It helps to fast from those things so that you can hear from the Lord clearly and have deeper fellowship with the Lord. (1Corinthians 7:5 KJV)

3. Faith- Not looking to your left or right but trusting in God for an answer is through faith your faith walk. (Hebrews 11:1) "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

4. HolySpirit- (John 14:26 KJV) "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." Having the HolySpirit will give you understanding to know deeper things in the Lord and will unction you to pray for things that it already knows about the future,the past and present.

There are much more ways to wait on the Lord for answers. You just have to maintain a solid foundation with God by setting aside worldy things, and denying your flesh daily so that answers can be heard. God is not the arthur of confusion, the devil is and he tries to keep you destracted, and bound so that you will miss God and what He's trying to tell you. It's up to you to NOT let the devil have it's way. Take AUTHORITY and read the word of God and apply it to your life. Waiting on God is not hard at all. It's strength to excercise your faith to what your hoping for.

Statistics show that many couples from different denominations,believers with unbelievers are most likely to break-up or get a divorce over lack of agreement. The bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" God never intended us to be in a relationship with someone that doesn't agree with your faith in God,morals and values. The decision of being with an unbeliever is only by choice. There are many reasons why young people today are not choosing the right ones to be with is because of rebellion, fleshly sin, lack of fatherhood in the family,peer pressure,abuse, neglect, and out of desperation. There are much more reasons why people choose an opposite sex. My theory from my own lifestyle is christian women and men choose to be with someone that's not christian or on the same page spiritually so that fornication can be involved. They only choose the person that doesn't quite understand everything in the bible about sin and fornication so that it wouldn't be an issue to fornicate or go against what the Bible says.1 Corinthians 6:18 says "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body." 1Thessalonians 4:3"For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication." Naturally the unbeliever doesn't think it's a bad thing to do or they may think it's wrong, but go will along with it.

Television networks such as MTV and BET are highly used of the devil to get young people to fornicate and act worldy, forgetting morals and values. Some teens aren't brought up well because of certain family situations, but where are the real christians and role model influences to help young people make right decisions?

Growing up sometimes isn't easy for some children. As they get older, they manage to find things out the hard way instead of being invested as important children of our future. Relationships start at home. That's how young children began to understand how relationships really are by their parents, teaching them with love and support or with hate and neglect. When they grow older and began to see the opposite sex as of interest they either have a positive perspective towards them or a negative.
God desires us to live life with happiness because he loves us and wants us to have the best. It's always important for parents to raise your kids to make the right decisions in life so that when it's time for them to date or get married they will have those positive morals and values to fall back on. It all falls in the same category as being "equally yoked"(God's will). Life is a big difference when you make the right choices as to who you choose to be with. Being around positive influences and friends will help to encourage you as well as help you to be open to what God wants for you.
If that person your with right now is not who you really want, cut them off. Don't create excuses to be with that person because it's only going to push away how you really feel in your heart. Choose wisely and NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS THAN THE BEST is my motto!! If it takes a while of waiting especially for women, then that should let you know that God is showing you who you really are and giving you time to get to know him. The bible says in Proverbs 18:22 "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD." Wait on the Lord and let God prepare you for greatness. Even for men, maybe waiting a while to find out who you really are in Christ Jesus is wisdom. The right one for you is out there guys and God will point you to her. Men and women of God, you want to do this thing right because being in the will of God is long lasting than to do everything yourself without HIS help. So open your hearts and realize who you are and what you deserve.

Leviticus 19:2 says, "Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy."

You can't expect to making it into heaven unholy. Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. Ephesians 5:27 says, "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." You must prepare yourselves as the body of Christ of getting your hearts and lives right with the Lord. If your not saved and filled with the HolyGhost with evidence in speaking in tounges, you won't make it in! The bible says you must be born of the water and of the spirit. John 3:5 says, "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." Being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and filled with the HolyGhost is a must. Acts 2:38 says, "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." You must repent of your sins and know in your heart that you want to change and turn from your wicked ways. The bible says in Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." You must believe it in your heart that you want to be saved and then confess out of your mouth that Jesus christ is Lord and then you will be saved.

The devil is the prince of the air. He controls the demonic activity that's lerking in the body of Christ today. Churches have been overthrown by the anti-christ agenda by letting the secular worldly ways in the church. Pastors have been desensitized by allowing compromise because of greed in the church. In John 2:12-22 speaks about how Jesus went to Jerusalem and noticed people in temple making it a marketplace so he ran the moneychangers out of the temple.

Churches today are making a church a marketplace by selling literature,selling concert tickets,selling tickets for conferences..you name it and God is not pleased at all. His word is free to save your souls so that you can be free but the church has became greedy and it's a stench up to Heaven and God is not pleased.

The coming of Jesus is soon to come and you must have Holiness because God is Holy. There's nothing unclean about HIM so we must be Holy so that our souls won't be lost. This world is getting darker and darker each day but we as the body of Christ must let our light shine. The devil is out to steal,kill and destroy your purpose and your life. It hurts to see people do stupid things like this. Now I have to say thank God I don't eat at Dominos LOL! But still alot of that goes on everywhere in different fast food resturants and sometimes upscale resturants aswell. My point is many people out in the world rather trust in take out or resturants handling their food, more than Jesus. None of these devilish acting workers never sacrificed their lives to save us like Jesus did.(They don't care about others and most importantly they don't care about themselves. It's selfish and demonic) As stupid as it sounds, it's the truth. When people are caught up in this whole worldy system they don't realize they rather trust in a stranger handling their food than the "ALMIGHTY GOD"! I'm almost 100% sure that people out in the world have been exposed to God but still refuse to believe and trust in God. They don't want to trust in God because they don't want anyone to tell them what to do. They don't like rules. My point is, people nowadays are trusting other things including their food they eat out rather than God and it's ashamed to see people more motivated in things rather than God.

I'm not saying this to gross you out but people living in this world have truth all around them. They also have bad habits not thinking about their health being at risk just by people used by the devil to spike peoples foods. By knowing God and having a close relationship with Jesus Christ, HE will tell you things for your better understanding and will give you wisdom. That's why it's important to trust God because alot of these things go on behind your back that HE wants to tell you. He gives us wisdom to cook our own foods, eat healthy, excersise,be a good stuart and appreciate your perfect health. Yes it's very important to pray over your food while eating out, but this is where wisdom kicks in. Having the HolySpirit(given by God to all of us who recieve) is our road map to wherever and whatever we do and will let us know where and what to eat and where and what not to eat. People who are used by the devil do crazy things and we just have to have the upper hand on what goes in our bodies.

It says in Matthew 5:44 "But I say unto you,Love your enemies,bless them that curse you,do good to them that hate you,and pray for them which despitefully use you,and persecute you."

The bible tells us to love our enemies and you find yourself fustrated at what people say or do to you. If you call yourself a christian, then obedience is a must. No matter what people do or say to you, you have to always forgive them because you can't go to heaven with unforgiveness in your heart. I sit and ask myself what did I do wrong to these people to be persecuted and shunned? And I began to talk with my mother about why people act the way they act towards christians and she told me, people seem to not realize that it's not you they are angry with, it's the spirit you carry. People don't realize they are used by the devil to persecute others. We must continue to walk in love and God will bless that situation. When cast all your cares to the Lord, he will intervene and cause them to be in conviction and most of the time they will come back and apologize.

Words are important and can be a weapon against others, but Jesus was spat on,persecuted, and shunned because of the Holyspirit he carried inside which made people used of the devil to do mean things and say mean things to HIM. The only form of witness that they needed was Love and that's what Jesus showed them. Thats why it's important to Love our enemies regardless of how bitter and confused they are. In the mist of their bitterness and confusion, they are watching you and how you take their criticism. When you continue to walk out of love then they will see you as a strong,forgiving,and loving christian. And nine times out of ten they will be drawn to admit that they were wrong because of the guilt.

People could be mean based upon their lifestlyes and how they were raised. Also the group of people they are use to. For example, I'm not use to being around people that are ghetto and that has never stopped me from wanting to communicate to them but on the other hand they always had that shunning spirit around them because they would think I'm too good for them, or not "cool enough". Whats being cool anyway? So then you begin to realize they are not really worth being around and that they are not important to please. We as christians are suppose to pray for them who do you wrong or shun you. That's all we can do.

Relationships are always challenges people face dealing with getting over a break-up and you find yourself mad towards your ex's that do you wrong during the relationship. Forgiveness applies to this situation too. Facing judgment with God, He will bring up your un-forgiveness towards the person that did you wrong. So that's why it too is important to forgive and let go so that it won't affect other relationships with people. I myself find it hard to forgive an ex for doing me wrong but just because I'm a christian, it's required to forgive especially when you made a vow to God being the Lord over life.

Forgiving others may be hard to do but it's what you have to do in order for God to heal you from the past. If it's a parent,brother,sister,relative,friend or whomever, forgive them anyway and God will come through for you. Don't be upset if they don't apologize, it's on them. They would face judgement for their actions. You did your part to forgive so move on and let God continue to order your steps in life.

THE EASTER ICON VS. JESUS

Easter is coming up in a few days and people are getting their best outfits ready for Resurrection sunday. It's exciting to be able to look wonderful for a special day, but most importantly, we must realize God is not all in it for show,looking like easter but to go and serve the Lord and be reminded that he rose from the dead and that He still lives!!

Retailers are going banannas over the Easter holiday because of people buying Easter baskets,candy and Easter eggs. One thing that the devil wants is for the world to get their mind off of the real meaning of this holiday and focus on bunny rabbits and baby chicks. I would have to say, yes God created the animals but that has nothing to do with what Jesus did on the cross for all of us. Otherwise a rabbit or a baby chick didn't sacrifice their life to die on the cross for our sins. The devil is a joke..a messed up joke to throw people off of what really matters. Spending lots of money on Easter accessories is a quick scheme to get people broke. Now that the economy is all messed up in certain areas, we got to stretch the penny.Christians need to realize this: "STOP SPENDING MONEY ON NON-SENSE AND PAY YOUR TITHES AND OFFERINGS"!!!!! Sit down with your children and read them stories from the bible,especially the story of how Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins and how He rose again. It's important for them to know the real truth about where we came from and who we are as Christians. Most importantly who Jesus is!

Wordly christians aren't true examples representing Jesus. Compromise is always a weakness and their easily influenced to go along with most worldy things. If you cared enough about what God wants, then certain Holidays with a false image wouldn't influence you to compromise. We as christians should realize if were to be different and set apart from wordly ways...you got to act like it and stop fooling around and straddling the fence. People around you that aren't christians are watching you and your actions. How can you call yourself a christian doing worldly things? It confuses non-christians in believing that you can have God and be worldy too. It's impossible! You either live for Jesus and serve HIM to the fullest and not compromise or live for the devil compromising your standards and perish forever. Jesus is still the same yesturday,today and forever and we have to go by what the Word says and NOT what the world says. Jesus died on the cross for our sins..not for bunny rabbits or baby chicks! Lets raise our next generation kids in the way that God wants us to raise them. Teach them things about God's perfect will for them in their lives.

Lets get serious and focus on real truth and not false images. Pray this simple prayer with me.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know this world is all messed up with images and false doctorine, not representing you on important holidays. It's your light that shines through me to show others the real meaning and truth of your life here on earth. I pray that you can use me as an example to teach people real truth,not allowing me to be decieving to others. Help me to be a better example to my family and people around me so that they can see that worldly things aren't more impotant than your will. I believe the true meaning of this holiday is to reach out to others to come and know who you are. It symbolizes the true sacrifice you made on the cross for everyone, so that they can have eternal life. Thank you Lord for grace and mercy over me and my family. Continue to guide me in the way you want me to go. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I pray that everyone can realize that you have to be serious about God and not go along with what others are doing. God wants us all to be a light and witness to show non-believers the realness of true christian saints of God.

Throwing money during this performance was so un-called for! They were probably thinking that they were at a secular Hip-Hop concert! How dare they allow this person to rap on stage unholy. The devil had his way and caused almost everyone in the building to worship him. Being a light and witness is not going out in the world to act like secular people but make a huge impact on the world to draw them near to God. But how are christians suppose to impact the world through ministry when they are acting just..like..them!!!! I happen to meet TD Jakes the night before the inaguration and I wanted to have a great conversation with him because I read his book "Not easily Broken" and I figured he was such a great minister of the gospel. He seemed alittle shallow and un-inviting. Didn't want to really be bothered with. It left me thinking, wow why is he acting this way when all of the things he's doing for the Lord, I thought he would be excited to meet people that love his ministry. I also felt that it was a confirmation that he is battling with spirits of the world. He didn't really look himself either. I'm sure he gets alot of people coming up to him to say hi and things but if it's something your doing for the Lord, you should always walk out of love and atleast be inviting especially if people are buying his CD's,DVD's,going to watch his movies,his books and other things. Thats just shows to know when a person haves alot of money they become different and ungrateful. All us christians have to do is pray for them. 2 Timothy 6:10 says: "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." It's like gospel artists are trying to get to know these wordly artists so that they can put them in their music to draw people in when it's not in Gods will. Gospel artists aren't making enough money to be on top of the world(so thats what there trying to do) In the bible is says in 1John 2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." God is the same yesturday,today and forever! You can't cut corners, taking something from the world then slap Jesus on it and call it annointing because God will reject it each time! He wants us to be original and not seek after things,fame and fortune but seek HIM. Gospel artist have missed the mark in alot of areas because of compromise.God is not playing...he's serious.

I see other christian artist that are prosperous becuase of non-compromise and those are the ones who will go on in God's glory and continue to be obedient. I think christians who want to set themselves apart from this whole gospel movement should look into other christian artists who are real about God and not trying to please the world. Thats why I have to say I'm unlimited to christian music because I just want to feel God's presence in the music I listen to. I cut off alot of certain gospel artist because of them bearing no fruits in their music. I still listen to their music way back when they were annointed but not much of the new stuff. It's ashame to see all of this happening but I'm still praying for them!

The Spirit of a Mean Girl

Have you ever sat and wondered why certain females are mean? Even your close friends and family seems to always be offensive in everything you say about them? It's not because of their day, if it's a good or bad day, it's much deeper than that. You see them go through a faze of friends or even family members that would talk to them for a while and then stop talking to them. It's as if there not stable to handle anybody to stick around or they got mad over the smallest thing and not able to work it out on the spot. Sometimes you have friends that will put up with the meanness,sticking around because they know a nice girl inside of them that will come out from time to time. They are drawn by their nice side and their willing to put up with their attitudes. Proverbs 18:24 says: "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother". If it was a good friend or family member that's close to them, they would always be nice in spite of a disagreement. They would tend to talk it through until they see eye to eye. In Leviticus 19:18 says: "Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. This means that if their is any grudge or something that has happened in the past that their not over, God wants us to love and not get offensive or mad over everything a person says out of their mouth. If you don't love yourself enough, then the whole world in your "way of thinking" is against you when their really not. Maybe their trying to make a point on a subject,give you guidance,a joke, or a compliment. It's not to be your hater or to put you down because if that person is trying to do that, they are careless and most importantly, they wouldn't call you their friend at all.

THERE ARE MANY SOLUTIONS OF CHANGE:

1.) Try as much as you can to get over past hurts, little or big things people have said about you because thats not only going to effect your lifestlye, but it's going to cause you to loose a lot of friends.

2.)When someone gives you a compliment, don't get offensive or cut throat about it. Just take it as it is say thank you and go on. Keep all mean things in your hidden thoughts, somehow you'll get over it and move on. But don't X them out of your life over innocent words. It's just going to make you look bad.

3.)Reach out. Don't clam up in your selfish ways but open up and start inviting people places. People may see you as a nice person but can also see that your always dependent on others to invite you out.

4.)If you don't like something a person says about another individual, speak up and tell them you disagree because holding back at that very moment of telling them how you feel will be your set back from resolving it. Otherwise you will go around being mad over that one thing a person said and will effect your friendship.

5.)Not only should you set yourself apart from those who turn on you(backstabbing)bash on you and talk about you behind your back but pray for them. The bible say is Matthew 5:44 "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you". If you call youself a christian, your suppose to act like it and don't let things people say about you, bring you down. Not the nice things, jokes, or compliments people say but cruel and mean things they say about you only. Pray for them anyway.

There are lots more of solutions for being a better person but one thing you need to remember is if your a christian, you should be an example and walk out of love. The only way God will work out the situation between you and others who harmfully say bad things about you is if you stay submissive and faithful that God will work it out. When your obedient, then God will move a whole lot quicker. For those who are your real friends, family members who really care about you, don't take them for granted. Love for you is always in their hearts.

God Gave Me An Answer!

Well yeturday at around 10ish maybe 11:00pm something so heavy weight in my spirit as if God was trying to tell me something. When you have the HolyGhost, you know it's God when he's about to tell you something in your spirit. So I quickly ran upstairs and got quiet for a while just thinking about things I asked God about including about this guy that I really admire at my church and the spirit of the Lord told me, He's not the one for you and that it's someone else. Wisdom also told me to stay with what I have in my heart of the exact man I desire. God began to allow me to think of things that I talked about with this guy and notice the things that weren't what I want. Lately I've been opening up my bible and the bible always goes to Proverbs 6 about adultery. I have yet to get more answers concerning that but when God shows you things you have to open your heart and when God shows you stop or warning signs about a person then it ends there. God wants whats best for you..he never wants you to be hurt or in a bad terrible relationship locked in with someone thats not for you thats why when I ask God about a certain person I admire, he always gives me an answer through dreams and signs also allowing me to be observant. Once I ask and pray about it, he lets me know right away. You just got to speak to that mountain and say I will not go any further without asking God "is this your will for me Lord Jesus"! So this to me is a huge relief..now I can go on and continue to do Gods work for the Kingdom and continue to be faithful on these last days and times.

Everyone doesn't want to be alone but it's well worth the wait when it's someone heaven sent and someone that will last a long, long time. Been in relationships where guys couldn't handle me and simply because I compromised and it wasn't in God's will. There were times God told me to cut it off and I was obedient and did it because he knew down the road I would be in extreme emotional pain in a bad situation. Thank You Jesus for caring so much to not allow me to be decieved or hurt anymore!

A Fustration I Have In This Man

Lately it's been a big challenge dealing with possibilities in regards of a guy I admire. I feel as though I constantly have to catch myself and emotions towards this guy alot more because as a friend he's a very sweet guy. I not too long ago made a list of things that I look for in a christian man..someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with and I compared him to most of the things on my list. This was before I started to have these feelings for him. I opened my notebook and saw most of the things that he is on my list and I thought to myself, wow. A few days ago while spending time with him, I got to know a little more about him as far as things he wants to do in life and it was overwelming for me because he shares the same interests as me. I like to travel and try new things as well as he does.Alot of things we have in common but the things that confuses me is how he clams up without letting anyone know who he's interested in or what things he looks for in a woman..he's a very mysterious guy when it comes to him and relationships. I haven't seen him with a woman, he has a kid,he loves kids,he's never with a woman at church. When I see him in church he only says hi to me. He doesn't stop and talk for a while. It' as if he's maybe ashamed to talk to me or he just wants to talk to people in long converstations he already knows. But how are you suppose to get to know a person of their so clammed up and not reaching out. I may be 3 years younger than him but age ain't nothin but a number..I always liked older and mature men.
God always gives me an answer for every guy I ask him about and I have yet to get that answer. I know God works by patience and I know I have to wait on an answer but I don't want to go any further without knowing because I felt this way about someone else before..I got my feelings all involved and he wasn't interested..he thought I was beautiful as he said but was talking to someone else. I mean who knew that..nobody saw him with anybody so I thought he was single so thats how I was hurt from that and now that I like someone else it kinda feels the same and I don't want to put any other feelings out there until I get my answer from God.
I'm going to still serve God,witnessing,and being a light at work..doing the things God wants me to do while I'm waiting on answers. I pray the Lords decision for me will be the BEST for me.

The 5 Don'ts in a christian relationship

Over the years I've been in relationships where many mistakes have been made, due to the fact of compromise or lack of knowing how to handle a relationship the proper way. This blog may be a little too much to handle but it's the truth and the truth hurts but the truth is what sets us free and helps us not to make those same mistakes ever again.

#1 Don't-SEX

While in a relationship regardless of how "in love" you are, it shouldn't go futher to "Let's take this relationship to another level" which means to be intimate sexually. Sex in a dating relationship especially if your a christian could bring the relationship down and usually you'll end up breaking up(as God would do) because God wasn't really in the relationship even if he was in the beginning, the downfall was through compromise and the bible tells us in 1Corinthians 6:18-20 "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 7:1-2 "Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless,to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband." Compromising against the will of God will mess up a potential long lasting relationship regardless if you didn't go all the way and just did sexual things such as oral sex,touching or heavy petting. God will shut it down no matter how much you try to take it all back or make promises of never fornicating ever again, it can't be fixed because those sinful deeds that you've done..you will be forgiven for it but it won't make the relationship work anymore. When your emotions are involved, you become insecure about everything and your lack of trust in that person will end the relationship. Bottom line, when you have sinned with the person, it doesn't feel the same verses in the beginning when the relationship was great there was life and hope of lasting long with this person.A relationship should be based on getting to know the person,their likes and dislikes, their family,most importantly who they are in Jesus Christ. And when your relationship is pure while investing your time and energy in the person, God will bless it because your doing his will in obedience.

# 2 Don't-FEAR2

Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Never be afraid of God while in a relationship because there may be tests, but don't allow the enemy to feed you thoughts of fear because the opposite of fear is faith. You have to have faith in a relationship and most importantly..trust. Maybe due to the fact that you've had bad relationships in the past and the many mistakes you made from those relationships and the times you got hurt..you can try again with a second chance, the right way.Trust in God that he will instruct you of what to do..how to handle a successful relationship. Never be afraid of the right one who God sends you or place in your life because it's a blessing to you and it's up to you to follow Jesus in HIS footsteps while your in that relationship. Having a strong fellowship with God, praying together,talking about God and worshipping always helps because while having that strong foundation in the word will help build a ministry the both of you will share in the future. A strong and Godly relationship that you share with eachother will lock out the enemy. Fear won't be present. It's 100% guaranteed.

# 3 Don't-BAGGAGE & OLD BONES

Don't bring old news in a relationship. It's ok for the other person to be aware of things in the past that happened once you share those secrets and personal matters with him/her but don't keep bringing it up. You've moved on from those things and you've been delivered,set free or however you want to call it but leave those old baggages behind..LET IT GO lol. Your baggage is not your child/children..it has been endorsed from God to a gift..He knows your mistake and he has forgiven you so accept the fact that you have a child or children from whatever mistake situation you were in and count it a blessing. Jesus Loves all children so do call your child/children baggage. Hopefully the person your with will accept the fact that you have a child from someone else and that he/she will claim him/her as their own. Otherwise if they don't like it..let him/her go with no mercy. Why would you be with him/her in the first place? Your suppose to know upfront if they can handle it or not. Don't wait to tell him/her you have a kid or children because thats being dishonest. Always be upfront and honest in the beginning. Don't have bones from the past meaning gifts(donate them to goodwill),jewlry(in that case give it back or pond it for a shopping spree or a new video game..LOL depending on how much it's worth anyway) old letters..burn them..if you have a fire place..there you go or shred them. My point is don't keep old bones because the more you have them around the more your constantly reminded of your past. If your moving forward in life, you have to let go of the past first. If your still holding on to something from the past, your not over it and it will effect your relationship so use wisdom and throw out them old bones.

#4 Don't-NEEDY

If the person that your with have other obligations such as work,school,church events or ministry duties you must understand that the person cannot neglect those things because if he/she is trying to make something of him/herself then thats a must and you should have obligations too otherwise what will you have to bring to the table? Obligations are moral ties and ways of life that you have to face in a person. Those obligations are what makes us human. Especially when your doing things for the Lord..it's a must. For someone to want more of your time and energy, what time will they have to build their future? So spending time with a person doesn't have to be everyday but only on days that can work for the both of you while in a relationship. "Don't be obssesed with man,be obssesed with God."-PD The more you see the person at church, or at bible study should be the standard way you get a chance to see eachother including the days your both free for lunch or a movie..etc. Even phone calls,emails or text messages should be other ways of communication anyway when days you can't see him/her. So don't be needy complaining about your mad because you can't see him/her that day or whatever..just know they are obligated to their obligations.

#5 Don't-NEGATIVE&EVIL SPIRITS

If your a christian, you should already know not to watch or listen to certain types of movies,music and etc. because what you put in your spirit is like a weapon towards your spirit and it's not good. When you are going to the movies, always watch movies that are appropriate and more comfortable for the both of you. Otherwise you don't want to be sitting in a movie theater and your man or girl is watching a hot and steaming sex scene or a naked woman or man because it's uncomfortable and your thoughts will wonder off in certain places it shouldn't be and those spirits can try to taunt or tarnish the relationship depending on your strength level in God, especially if your being pure and waiting. Don't be over his/her house after hours because you know what that means? It's bed time and use wisdom..really why would you be over their house after hours? To get freaky? UM..NO! "Well were just cuddling, nothing is going to happen" LOL you think? From experience,when your flesh gets weak your in another world and while in that world compromise is of reach. So thats a don't..use wisdom!

No Compromise in 09

It's a new year and a new season to dust off the past and move forward in the present. As a christian woman I vow to change certain things in my life that I shouldn't do such as changing the way I listen to things that is UN-GODLY such as secular music..even before the new year I had already cut back from listening to music that doesn't minister to my spirit but flesh and I'm very proud that I can be an example to those that may still have their foot in the door of compromise. Just because the music sounds good, doesn't mean the spirit behind the music is good. God wants us as christians to guard our hearts from music that is of the world like in Proverbs 4:23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." meaning to protect what goes in our hearts. Story: Just recently while riding on our way(my sister & I) with my church young adults group we had a young gentleman ride with us in my car because we were car pooling to a certain place and we got on the subject of music and he had asked if it was ok if he played some music from his laptop in the car and he mentioned since we were listening to Gospel would it be ok if he played some secular music. So I was thinking to myself, ok he must not really understand about God enough to respect the fat that we were on an outing with a christian group and that would be by far away from what we stand for..right? And so I spoke up and told him that we (my sister and I)don't listen to that type of music anymore because of the certain spirits behind the music and that we didn't want it in our spirit. And so he went on and told us that just because the music talks about sex or drugs doesnt mean that I'm goign to go out and do it. So I spoke up and said but those spirits can come back to you and you will wonder why you thought about doing those things all of a sudden. and then I told him that I use to listen to music and out of the blue I would think of certain thoughts that I wouldn't do but after a while I stopped listening to that type of music because of those spirits. He listened...he might not think of cutting off certain music he listens to but it was a planted seed in his heart and some way down the line someone else will come water it. thats why it's important for real believer in Jesus to resist those things..stay away from certain music that would fight against your spirit.

Things we choose to watch on TV or at the movies are certain things we have to be cautious about because if it's something that will bring fear to you such as scary movies you shouldn't watch it like in 2Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." God tells us these things in HIS word for a reson because he knows that the enemy will try to thrill you with these things to watch to being fear in your hearts and minds because fear is the opposite of faith and by inviting fear in your hearts and minds, your faith level will be very low and thats something that all christians should avoid. Also in movies are promotions of sex, drugs, cursing spirits, spirits of homo sexuality, and many other tactics of the enemy and a quick way to avoid those spirits from entering into your hearts and minds is simple DON'T WATCH!!!

There are many things that will be a test for you to see if your heart is ready to move forward and not back. When these tests come, you have the upper hand. Make a goal to set goals of no compromise in 2009 because God expect the fullness of your hearts to stay on HIM and not in the world. Yes I would have to agree, the clubs, the music, the secular parties, the movies, the secular friends may seem exciting but were in this world but not of it and thats why God says in 2Corinthians 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." We as christians are suppose to be set apart from worldy ways and be obedient to Gods will and HIS ways. It will only make your salvation walk more prosperous is if you stay away from wordly things. Now when temptation comes your strength in the Lord will be so strong that it will defeat the enemy right away followed by your authority to speak against it but saying "Get thee behind me satan!!" I'm putting you under my feet..you will not tempt me to do that!!" When the devil tempt Jesus in the wilderness, he rebuked him. Matthew 4:1-10 says "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil." "And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred." "And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread." "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in [their] hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone." "Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me." "Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."

Deep in Thought

It's a mystery to figure out what it is. My mind is as if it's trying to tell me something about it but then I have doubts. I doubt about if it will become of me, pursue me or just be there to stick around. The thoughts of admiring it comes and goes, depending on the times I get to see it. I want to know,learn about it and see more of it so that my heart can choose to pursue more. It's there to grab but I'm not crossing until God tells me to cross.

Possibilities are near, I can feel it. Anxiously I wait to find out the missing puzzle of it. When I wake up, it is as if I think of it often than normal. If I make a list, in my mind some things add up in my desires. I ask God in my mind to reveal the puzzle of what I'm yerning to know.

There are certain feelings I have when I'm around it while in a place of coincidence. It appears in question as what if's but at the same time I'm careful to give in. I have my ways of asking God about my concerns when it comes to thinking of that certain type of thing.When my faith is full of power and God comes to unlease the answer I always know head on before I make my next move.

As I get closer to the "X" marked box with the puzzle inside I will know. I don't fear but my concerns and questions are worth to be answered so I will see.

Canola Oil & Sugar

Well, yesturday my hands were very rough and dry and I needed something like a scrub to get rid of the dryness of my hands so I was lead by the Lord to mix sugar and canola oil together and then take some of it and rub it on my hands like I'm washing them. So I started to rub sugar and canola oil on my hands for a good 5-8 mins and I began to feel the results.My hands started to feel real soft and moist. So then I washed it off and it left my hands feeling like my sons skin..LOL but it felt really, really soft and better! It was amazing so I began to get this idea to create my own skin scrub with other ingredients. It's amazing how God gives you these grand ideas and when He does, you just have to be obedient.

On a Christian Womans Perspective
A christian woman holds a higher role VS. a worldly woman with no standards. While dating a christian man, a christian woman should be holy and stand her ground with strength into keeping her flesh controlled daily. A worldly womans mind set is to be with a man and if he seems to be a good man then she feels obligated to put more of herself out, which means "giving it up" or "having sex". It's most common that a woman of the world will influence a man letting him know that it's ok to have sex before marriage just by the way she acts or if it engages to a intimate situation where it's only both the man and the woman in a quiet place being intimate, it could lead to sex. Nine times out of ten, it will happen. On the other hand a christian woman...a good one that has her flesh under control will say "no" and to suggest to seek counceling in order for the relationship to take it a further step.

Secular+Christian=Compromise?
I had my share of dating different type of guys that are not born again christians or saved and during the relationships I felt obligated, putting my salvation at risk to give in to temptation. Temptation was always there no matter what. Times they didn't ask for "it", I willingly gave into that spirit of Jezebel. So why date out of the will of God? I felt as if it was hard to wait. I always felt as if something is missing. Walking around seeing all of these happy couples of how really close they are made me feel like I'm missing out on a good relationship. Many times I seeked...and seeked....and seeked trying out all types of guys and not one of them were qualified. No matter how saved I was they weren't interested. All they wanted was me on a deeper level of intamacy. Many times I tried to tell them I'm a christian but then during the whole process in a relationship, I drifted off away from the will of God and his purpose for me. Once I started having sex, I couldn't stop. It was addicting like crack(laughs). From different experiences it made me realized the reason why I wanted to date an unsaved man so that I could sin.To me at the time sinning against God wasn't taken seriously. That thought didn't just pop up in the head while dating those men. It was familiar spirits that led me to put myself out there to be taken advantage of. Even when I tried to go to church again, I went back to my same old ways Monday-Saturdays but then now I realized no matter how many times I was under the word regardless of the times I sinned with my body, It was a planted seed and God was always there because he knew one day, that I would finally make a decision to totally turn away from sin. During the process of my life changing it was as if I was in spiritual rehab. Times I recieved phone calls or text messages from old boyfriends or guys I dated to try to get back together or go out to reunite and talk about old things I gave in and never heard from them since was a trick from the devil to make me slide a few steps back. But now if the devil tried to bring old news to me, I'll NEVER give him the satisfaction.

Wisdom (Ladies & Gentleman) While Dating A Christian
The wisest thing while dating a woman or man of God is to maintain a strong christian friendship FIRST. Understand and get to know the person. Finding out their likes and dislikes. Getting to know their family "AND FRIENDS"(meeting ALL friends). Praying and fasting are two key things that will keep the relationship up and running with God in the middle as number one. If a man or woman of God wants to pursue you, you will know by their actions and not just call or show when desire. But if a man or woman of God genuinly wants to get to know everything about you that's a sign of a possibility. From then on you pray and fast, seeking God to ask if he or she is the right one for you. Your anwer will come through dreams,visions, and prophecy. Most importantly GOD WILL LET YOU KNOW FIRST!!! two or three other times will be a confirmation.

5 Mistakes in a Christian Relationship

1.)Sex-Don't ever be alone with the person your dating because temptation can come quickly. Use wisdom.

2.)Being Selfish- One person can't be in a relationship by his or her self. That means if its right then both parties would want equal time spent and pursuing one another at the same time. A No, no for example. Priscilla wants to go see a movie with Tom, Tom has a christian party to go do without inviting Priscilla to come along. What does he have to hide? If he spends time with his other friends should Priscilla come along to get to know them too since their a part of his life? Pursuing him is knowing everything about him including his friends. Otherwise if he hides you from them he's not being genuine or truthful to you and nine times out of ten he's hiding something from you and he's being selfish. On another note if he had to work that day, you would know.

3.)Lack of trust- "It's not you who I don't trust, it's your hidden thoughts"-The Family that Preys(love that movie!) Well basically a man or woman comes for different things weather it's for long term or short term. The question is, will you trust this person with your heart? How would you know what their really thinking about you? The most thing that breaks a person daily is being taken advantage of. Thats when God comes in to let you know things about a person especially people having the Holy Spirit which is a deeper relm in their salvation walk..indeed God will let you know things about a person that you would never imagine. I am a witness of it. Dating a christian without the Holy Ghost was a struggle. God begin to deal with me about this person and he showed me a dream a few months or years down the line but in this dream I looked older and I was suppose to meet my boyfriend at the time at a resturant. Here I'm sitting in this resturant waiting for him to come. I call him wondering what time is he coming so we can eat and he tells me that he's on his way, so we had finished talking and while I waited for him to get off the phone he didn't realized I was still on and he didn't realized he didn't hang up, I heard this female in the background saying "Did you tell her about us?" At that moment I woke up from the dream and all of what I invested in this guy was soon to come to a close. And thats when I put all the pieces to the puzzle that he was talking to other females that he was dating. He couldn't have been a minister, ministering the gospel to them while treating them to lunch? "Nah boo thats a date" If they needed guidance, shouldn't they have ask God and not man? You can seek counceling but a double minded man the bible says is unstabled. (James 1:8)Thats what brings me back to my point when I quoted the line from the movie The Family That Preys. What was he thinking while going out on these dates while dating me? And to top that never have he invited me to go see any more of his friends when he had gatherings other than two. So trust in a relationship has to be a strong foundation otherwise you have the right to let them go.

4.)Money- Call it what you want but you can't buy love, or you can't use money to control a person. Being controlling while having money is an exit sign for a blow up and no man or woman should not be involved with anyone that has control issues. Those are danger signs in the making. Watch all the Tyler Perry movies those are true examples!

5.)Compromise- Be careful what things you watch or listen to while your out and about during your relationship because those familiar spirits can haunt you if you compromise meaning giving in to it and think it's ok. God tells us to guard your heart. Well don't let anything thats against God to be invited in your relationships wherever you go.

Those are just a few tips and concerns but in order to be in prosperous relationships and friendships, you have to use wisdom.

This was just one of those songs that made me think of how God brought me out of darkness and into the light. And when you have the Holy Spirit(a deeper relm relationship with God,your conforter,your keeper) you can just since his presence all around in this song.

Many times people underestimate you, attacking you, say things to try to bring you down but I want to let you know when your beatin down from nasty words people may say to you....having God is a BIG HELP. Running to him and falling to your knees to pray for those who hate you and despise you. God always comforts you and communicating through the Holy Spirit thats within you to release all things to him and that he will take care of you ALWAYS!!!! JESUS is my rock and HE NEVER FAILS!

A best seller book by Dr. Don Colbert talks about different types of foods you should eat and shouldn't eat. People cram foods in their bodies without reading the labels on whats in them or go to fast food resturants witout having knowledge of calories thats in your meals. On page 24 in his book it states "the foods we need to avoid are not necessarily the unclean foods listed in Leviticus and Deuteronomy; the foods weneed to avoid because they are causingthe epidemic of obesity and disease are the man-made foods-processed foods,fast foods,excessive sugars,and toxic fats. These are the real killers in the American diet." That's true because I noticed myself being bigger than I should be because I would cram,and cram, and cram processed foods from resturants,fast food etc etc. That was during my pregnancy because my food cravings were really wild and ever since my weight has gone up and down. Stuggling to find some sort of diet to be on was impossible so THANK GOD for this book. I've just been reading bits and pieces of it when I can in my busy schedule and it helps, it's a miracle!!! Things to avoid are carbs and access sugars. As far as sugar, puts pounds and causes dibetes. Splenda is not good for you. It's a substance called sucralose, which is made by turning sugar into chlorocarbon. It causes you to have bloating, abdominal pain,gas nausea,blurry vision,diarrhea,headaches(especially migraines),heart palpitations,shortness of breath,frequent of breath,frequent need to urine at night,depression or overwhelming anxiety,spaces-out or drugged sensation,joint pains,and dizziness. Natural sugars are good for you like stevia,chicory root, Lo Han,or xylitol also found in trident gum. Diet sodas aren't good to drink when your dieting because it has Aspartame in it which has methanol and formaldehyde which causes blindness,eye damage or neurological damage. When you eat and buy breads and pasta always get whole grain or whole wheat because the regular white breads and pastas are bleached and aren't good for you so think to buy and eat natural organic wheats. Avoid too many fried foods because of bleched flour and grease can cause heart problems, meats that aren't USDA approved.(Be careful what meats you eat because most cows are given stiroids which causes increased weight growth. Fruits and vegetables should all be washed thoroughly because of chemicals. Those are just a few simple examples of food info. If you want to live eat wisely.

I would have to say this year has been a realchallenging,loving,dissapointing,blessed,stormy,painful,good times,sad times,happy times, everything you could ever think of kinda times this 2008 had to offer but in the mist of it all through this tunnel called life God has truly showed me himself greater like never before and I treasure it. I felt as if I've matured,gain strength,more faithful, and been incouraged ever since I let God just take the wheel. And I never took it for granite I keeped on keepin on and pushed through it all but in the end I realised my POWER and STRENGTH inside which is the Holy Spirit showed me things I would have never thought possible. Thats why Gods grace is what kept me through everything my whole life. I have regrets of turning astray close to the beginning of 2008 but I got things back on it course and now I would have to say I've learned alot about my walk with Jesus and things he revealed to me,answering all my questions and concerns,blessed me,kept me,opened doors for me,showed me more prophetic dreams,never neglected me,just giving me total acess to HIS GLORY,...ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR ME AND NEVER..EVER LEFT and I just keep all my praises lifted as we go over into the NEW YEAR 2009, I'm ready Lord for your Greater works!!

MY ROOM

Well today I sat and thought about how I wanted my room to be designed. Since it's a spacious room I want more modern colors like a purple,black and white.

You see this is nice, I like how it looks elegant and classy. Thats kinda how I want my theme in my room.

My Christmas My New Years Resolution

All in all it was a great celebration of Jesus. Indeed I was truly blessed and still are. Jesus is the reason for all the season and all year round so around Christmas time it symbolizes HIS birth. Well anyways, God has truly showed me more dreams and visions. Just a few days ago I was really in question about some things regarding my walk and I was in my big closet, looking through papers and I found a "Amuse" bag and looked in it and it was a recipt from what I had purchased(thats on of my fav stores) but anyways, I looked on the floor and on that little sheet of paper where three things God had revealed to me and those were the three things I needed to work on as a true believer in Christ. And over the last few days it has been a big breakthrough and I notice a big change in my heart and watching the decisions I make as a person. I try and God knows I try my best to be on top and current in the Lord.

My new years resolution is to turn up my faith level from an 8 to a perfect 10 and trust and know that God is going to change things in my life and everything that I always wanted is going to come to past and thats what I really truly have to believe in. If I can't trust anyone, I have to trust Jesus like I've been doing like never before. My other New Years resolution is to be more successful in a career. I know my gifts and talents and I know who I am in christ. I can be whatever God wants me to be with confidence that he will supply all of my needs.

I have other New Years resolutions but those are the two main ones I want to focus on and be on point with and when I apply it to my life and meditate on that, staying faithful that God will order my steps.

On another note, I'm really excited about a certain career opportunity that I've been praying on for a while now and I have recieved a call and they want to talk to me and hopefully everything will work out. I got my foot in the door and now it's up to God to do the rest. He gave me the open door now It's a challenge of my faith in "another level".

Elijah

A wonderful blessing of all is a gift from God above who gave me Elijah.

Although life had it's ups and downs,God managed to turn it into something great. Having a child is a big learning experience and as I grow each day learning how to be a mom, it teaches me to strengthen my patience, taking the time to get to know my very own flesh and blood. Taking a precious life and teaching him the ways of life is the right ways as instruction from God. I named him Elijah from a prophet Elijah in the bible who was a strong man of God. I want Elijah to grow up and become a strong man in the Lord, knowing the Lord in a personal relationship. I believe God has a call over his life thats yet not revealed and I have yet to know his assignment. I'm just really happy and blessed to have him in my life. When he calls me mom or mamma I get this excited feeling inside to know that he can identify who I am. Everyday I tell him I love him and there never will be a missed day gone by without telling him I love him.

OK, so I have this theory about certain men in our generation as a 23 year old!

A 30 DAY MAN

Fact: What is a 30 day man? Well I came up with this name 30 day man because I've been in relationships where they only lasted approximately 30 days or a little more. You only deserve depending on what you put out. I'm going to cut to the chase. Internet dating is pathetic and a waste of time. Spending time creating pages,making wonderful pix of yourself,posting them on your page is like making a for sale sign on the internet. Your not forsale, nor are you a model for an advertising company. Most of the time people have pages to connect with friends and thats what it should be all about. The only reason why it lasts 30 days or a little more is because sex is involved. You feel like the only way to grow close and to really get to know this guy is to give yourself up like it's nothing and intentionally do that so you can know how he is in bed..."getting to know him" right? and this not only reflects from guys online it reflects what kind of guys are you attracting by your appereance. If you dress sexy with all of your boobs out and legs and butt showing, guys will approach you regardless if your their type or not. They just want sex and trust, there looking at many others. Back to the online dating thing..what makes you think your the only one he's looking at? Now ladies lets get real deep in this because I'm on to something. Now let me ask you this, when he tells you he's studying, or have to do a project or whatever the case may be, what makes you think that he's doing what he's telling you..duh he's an online guy..how did he meet you in the first place? You have your bait or meat out and when the fish came to bite which is the guy your dating from online the guy that so called "wanted to get to know you better" and you mean to tell me that he's not still looking at other girls? It takes you to go through something so many times for you to finally get it. Thats why 75% of relationships from online ends in disaster because like I said you only deserve what you put out and for you to be a beautiful young lady on display is showing guys on the internet your looks and charm reeling them in, that your only available for them short term..a 30 day man. And in the end when they come up with a clever excuse of breaking up with you, realize there doing another project.

Hello Diary Part 1

Have you ever sat and wondered what Christmas should be all about? Not only the gifts but the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas symbolizes the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And I'm very grateful of having this special holiday for Jesus.

On Christmas, having gifts is a luxuary by choice but it's also a time to spend with your close loved ones and share thoughts, spending time on a wonderful holiday. Family is very important on the holidays and I'm very fortunate to have lots of family who care about me and enjoy spending time with me during the holidays, I'm blessed.

I also believe if your a parent like me who have a child or kids, you should explain the true meaning of Christmas. Santa is an old tale made up by retailers who just want your money...lol(what a way to get people to the stores during the holidays) and people have entertained that name for years. All that is very entertaining but what we should all sit do is think about the real true meaning of Christmas truly is.What you should tell them(when their old enough to understand) that Christmas is not just about gifts, it's about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You can find the birth of Jesus in the book of "Luke" Chapter 2.

I'm very passionate about the Holidays because this makes me think about Jesus,my family, and most of all things that I'm fortunate of having and I'm never taking things for granted.
